Inspired by the traditional Nordic longhouse and the lightness of Japanese architecture, the Bragi™ modular longhouse is elegantly elevated above the landscape with a unique terrace space throughout the house.
Seek community in the centre of the longhouse or create your own free spaces in the many built-in niches
The modular house Bragi™ is designed with a centrally located common room that combines a kitchen, dining area and seating area. The residence can be built as a stand-alone 80 m² module and supplemented with several modules or a courtyard house as needed.
The house features a bedroom at each end that offers views of nearby green space, and creates spaces to retreat when there is a need to be alone and cultivate the individual.
The view of the surrounding nature is enhanced by a thickened wall, which at the same time forms small cozy niches. All practical elements, like cabinets and storage, are integrated into the thickened wall, increasing the house functionality without compromising the aesthetic simplicity.
Great variety of accommodation options
The thickened wall of the house forms the framework of a series of quiet niches, distributed across the long side of the dwelling, offering variety in living options with different functions and moods. Small niches with space for daybed, work table or armchair.
Integrated and spacious storage
Aesthetic simplicity is pervasive across all the rooms of the modular home, where cupboards and storage are elegantly integrated into the thickened wall of the home, meaning that these features discreetly disappear into the interior. The depth of the wall at the same time helps to form a reinforced transition from inside to outside.
Community at the centre
The modular longhouse common room, which combines a kitchen-family room and a seating area, is centrally located in the residence with a view of nearby green areas and with direct access to the house's unique terrace space, which runs along the entire length, creating a harmonious connection between living and nature.
80 m² — 160 m²
In its purest form, the Bragi™ modular house can be constructed as a stand-alone module of 80 m² and complemented by several 80 m² modules or a smaller courtyard house. Put together the combination that matches your space needs.
